Alright, so I grabbed the latest version of Vavoom, and glbsp 2.10, and glvis1.5 whatever.
Tossed my wad files into the vavoom directory, and ran glbsp and glvis on each one.
No problems. The games run great after I do that. Just two minor details
#1) It seems that for every game, if I run it in OpenGL, what I take is suppsoed to be nicely rendered blood spatter from a hit, shows up as a bucnh of strange circles. Ie: I shoot a baddie, and instead of blood, I get strange red/grey circles, which disappear after a few seconds. Is there something uyp with the OpenGL blood hit rendering? Doesn't seem to occur under software or D3D.
#2) For some reason, after I exit, the Vavoom window just kinda... Hangs.
It eventually says something along the lines of "Impromper Runtime shutdown, yadda-yadda yadda." or "Runtime was terminated incorrectly please contact application administrator"
It's not a huge issue, just a minor nuisance to have to tell it to end non-responsive program.
Otherwise, Vavoom seems to rock [Way to go!], it's nice to find a port that handles Strife. If anyone has any suggestions, please, let me know, thanks.
